Tour at 13:00
The weather was even better on this tour than in the morning, calm sea, warm and sunny. We were more lucky now, spotting several minke whales, often many in the same area. We also saw a couple of dolphin groups, and like in the morning we could see the splashes they made from far away. At one point when we were in a good minke area we also spotted a group of harbour porpoises very briefly. Finally we were able to smell the minke breath once, it is very smelly. Stinky minke! :-)
Tour at 9:00
On this tour we spotted two groups of white-beaked dolphins. They were very nice and great to watch. Many of them jumped high in the air and we could often see the splashes from far away. One of the dolphins in the second group jumped up very close to the boat. We didn´t spot any minke whales however, but the weather was nice and the dolphin sightings were good.
