Tour at 13:00

On our way out to the area at one o'clock we spotted the Harbour Porpoises again. We saw few of them while searching for the bigger whales and finally only about 5 meters away from the boat one Minke Whale popped up. We saw it surface few times before it disappeared. Soon we then spotted another Minke Whale, actually there were 2-3 in the area but we only saw one surface at the time and close by were Gannets diving for fish. Birds we spotted today: Fulmars, Black-Backed Gulls, Kittiwakes, Gannets, Razorbills, Guillemots, Puffins and a Shag

Tour at 09:00

Today was really cold, coldest it has felt since probably January, thankfully first day of summer comes in 3 days :D, but the conditions were pretty good even though it picked up some wind during the tour. On our way out we decided to check how it looked in Akurey, one of two Puffin colonies here close to Reykjavík. There were not many Puffins on the Island itself but there were many of them flying close to the Island, really nice to see that they're back (or at least some of them). We then headed out to where we had good sightings yesterday. On our way to the area we spotted a really nice pod of Harbour Porpoises. Soon we got to the area but most of the birds had left. There were still quite many of them flying around but spread over a big, the Minke Whales on the other hand were a bit harder to find. Finally we spotted a Minke Whale at 12 o'clock. It surfaced few times before it disappeared then in a bit it popped up behind us few times. On our way back to the harbour we then spotted lots of Harbour porpoises, those were very difficult to look at but there were many of them spread over large area.
