✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE FROM ANOTHER HARBOUR  | 13:00

Report from Eldey: Today we sailed from the land of the Elves and the Hidden People. We decided to start the tour from Hafnafjordur where the weather conditions would be kinder than in Reykjavik. The journey was in fact quite enjoyable. All our surroundings were covered in snow, enhancing the charm Iceland is known for. Unfortunately our whales and dolphins were nowhere to be found today. There are a lot of conditions that interfere with cetacean distribution and these are not always in our favor. Wildlife can be impredictible. Nevertheless, we provided all our passengers complementary tickets so that they can tryto see our whales and dolphins again, for free.

Birds seen today: black-backed gull, northern fulmar, cormorant, common guillemot, black-headed gull.

We will be sailing out from HAFNAFJÖRÐUR today January 21st at 13:00 due to unfavourable conditions out of the harbor in Reykjavík. A bus will be ready and waiting for passengers here at the Old Harbour and drive off to Hafnafjörður at the scheduled departure time. After the tour we will return to Reykjavík by bus again.

This will result in a longer tour, or between 4-5 hrs. and could impact COMBO tours. Guests that are unable to join the tour because of it's length should contact their travel planner immediately to arrange for a different activity or check for other options provided by them
