CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: the sun was shining bright this morning as a soft breeze was rippling the near-flat ocean surface. We sailed around for some time until we ran into a familiar fluke. the humpback whale "Bubbles" was swimming around in the bay. It was travelling at quite some speed as we travelled along with it, crossing the bay for a distance of about 6 miles! Along the way we got to see some nice surface sequences and fluke dives, multiple times right next to us! What an incredible morning this was!

Report from Eldey: This beautiful sunny afternoon we headed to the bay hopping for great whale sightings. Just after 10 min we spotted our first blow! Amazing! A humpback whale in a very shallow area and really close to the islands just outside of Reykjavik! The whale moved slowly in a straight line occasionally rolling its body showing us a little tip of the fluke. Eventually we decided to continue our trip and sailed for about 40 min before we sighted another species- a minke whale! This minke seemed like it was feeding moving in circles but showing itself regularly so we could take lots of pictures! As time started to ran out we decided to start our way back to the harbour after a great summer day in the bay!
