Tour at 9:00
Report from Eldey: Today a ship full of adventurers did it like the fulmars do cutting strong winds as it was a children's game. Under harsh conditions the naturalists onboard tried their very best to spot cetaceans. The blast came from south, so that was the Eldey's favoured direction around the Reykjanes peninsula. Many sailors kept their minds strong by singing their songs from far away places, while others stayed inside the comfortable saloons witnessing natures powers like a movie: leaned back, warm and dry. Arriving the save haven again we were happy for the experience, even though this time not having had the luck to cross paths with one of these mystique creatures. It was a pleasure also thanks to the captain who managed to keep the ship calm in stormy waters. As no whales or dolphins were sighted on the tour we offered all passengers complimentary tickets for another tour.
