- CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00
Today's whale watching tours from Reykjavík are on schedule. Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!
CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: Today we started sailing out west searching for marine wildlife. The sky was cloudy but the visibility was good, so we were hopeful. We sailed around enjoying the view of the cloudy mountains and sipping our morning coffees, but unfortunately were were not lucky enough to spot any cetacean species so we gave out complimentary tickets to all our costumers so they can try again another day.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300
Report from Eldey: We set off this afternoon with the wind reducing which was nice. We headed south to begin this tour. To begin with we saw lots more seabirds so we started to get excited but soon enough they all disappeared. Then after 2 hours of searching we were rewarded for being so patient, we had found a lovely pod of 6 white beaked dolphins! They were swimming in circles most of the sighting, we got great looks at them though. They swam really close to us for a good period of time. Then just before we left they started to speed up a bit. After this sighting we headed back to harbour following a very good afternoon in Faxaflói!
