Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 09:00 and 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.
- CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 9:00, 13:00
- PREMIUM WHALE TOUR | 10:00, 14:00
CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 0900
Report from Eldey: We sailed out this morning into the strong winds as nothing can stop us in our search for cetaceans. It didn´t take us very long to find them either. Due to the strong winds we were heading towards Esja for protection. On our way after about 15 minutes we spotted 2 harbour porpoises not too far from our boat. They remained quite elusive though. Very soon after this a minke whale appeared in front of us. Another one then joined this individual, both were feeding. Both also came really close to us during the tour which was so nice. We could see one was quite a bit bigger than the other. We also then saw a few more porpoises to add to the fun. We then headed home after being pelted by the rain but very happy with the cetaceans we saw.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 1300
Report from Eldey: We sailed out heading to the same area as this morning hoping to find more cetaceans feeding here. We searched thoroughly in the area before heading a little further out. Unfortunately the cetaceans were nowhere to be seen. We did manage to spot a blow or two but didn´t manage to see the individual producing it. We then decided to give out complimentary tickets so our passengers could come back again with better luck.
