Report from Eldey: With a brisk breeze, we bundled up and set sail out into the bay, excited to see who we would spot this morning. The Northern Fulmars were taking advantage of the windy conditions to show off their dynamic soaring skills around us. We admired the sunrise and the snowy surroundings. We checked around the islands before spotting out a bit further into the bay. We could see plenty of seabirds, but no cetaceans were located out in the bay. After one last check around waters closer to home, we unfortunately ran out of time and had to head back to port. We handed out complimentary tickets so that everyone could try again to spot some cetaceans out in the bay with us.
