Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: It was rather windy today and the well high which rocked the boat up and down on our way out on the bay. We found big flocks of birds far out on the bay but we never found any cetaceans around the birds. On our way back to Reykjavík we found two minke whales. The first one we only spotted once before it disappear. The second minke whale we were able to follow for around 15-20 minutes. The whale was heading towards us when we first spotted it and it was amazing how close it came to our boat, at one point it surfaced only 10 meters away from our boat. Our sailing back to land was much smoother because than we sailed with the swell.
