CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We started the tour with a very cloudy sky but "warm" weather. As we were sailing out our researcher spotted some splashes in the distance. As we got closer we realized it was a pod of 4 white beaked dolphins and  we could see they were feeding!! We stayed some time with them and decided to go in look for bigger cetaceans. A bit later we spotted a blow. We tried to get closer but it kept swimming away. After some time trying to get closer we finally saw it close to the boat. It was a humpback whale!! It was traveling so it had us following it around so we all could see it properly. We decided to go back to harbor after a very nice and complete tour.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 1300

REPORT FROM ELDEY: We started the tour in time with a cloudy sky and the grey ocean but the sea wasn't rough. We sailed a bit far northern in search of some wildlife when suddenly started raining. Luckily we spotted one humpback whale after some time! We spent at least half an hour admiring this indivual even if it seemed quite elusive and shy but we saw its fluke multiple times, even very close to the boat. Many people were super excited about it. We saw it breathing and diving multiple times but - as we run out the time - we had to start heading back to the harbour, meeting lots of bird flocks on the way. Such a nice tour ended with a clear sunny sky!
