Tour at 17:00
Wind had definitely picked up on this tour. It was also a long time before we came across a Minke Whale. It surfaced a couple of times but far away. The next Minke Whale surfaced many times but always in the wrong direction so the swell would always cover the whale. Later we did see one though that was really close so everyone could see. All in all must of seen 4/5 Minkes most towards the end of the tour. We did also come across some Harbour Porpoises just at the harbour which finished the tour perfectly.
Tour at 13:00
Wind had picked slightly and the whales were more difficult. Saw two Minke Whales on this tour which surfaced couple of times and usually far away. Not the best of tours regarding the whales but the birdlife was amazing.
Tour at 09:00
This morning was great. We saw 4/5 Minke Whales, one surfaced only 30 meters from our boat, large pod of White-beaked Dolphins and loads of Harbour Porpoises. The sea conditions were really flat too which made the ride nice and smooth. Excellent tour.
