Tour at 13:00:

Report from Hafsúlan. We sailed out from Reykjavík and the weather had gotten better even though it was still cold. We had been sailing for just over an hour when we encountered a pod of 6-8 harbour porpoises. We watched them briefly before heading further out, hoping to see something more. We got word of a Minke whale in the area and sailed in its direction. We saw it surface a few times even though it didn't come high out of the water. We also saw somw Gannets diving in to the water very close to the boat. It was a very good tour but unfortunately we didn't get any pictures.

Tour at 09:00:

Report from Hafsúlan. We sailed out from Reykjavík and the sun was shining and the sea was calm. First we stopped by Akurey and saw a big flock of puffins. We watched them for a bit before heading further out. We searched a lot of areas but unfortuneatly we didn't have any luck in seeing whales although we saw a lot of beautiful seabirds. All of our passengers got a complimentary ticket which is valid for another tour for the next two years.

Birds seen on today's tours include: Fulmar, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Cormorants, Puffins and Northern Gannets.
