• CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Today's whale watching tour from Reykjavík is on schedule! Remember to dress according to weather and feel free to borrow our thermal overalls if needed!

Report from Eldey: We sailed out with quite some wind, but nice sea conditions and we didn't have to go far before we spotted 2 humpback whales ! So we headed straight to them and watched them surfacing a few times and also doing fluke dives, so we could see their beautiful flukes. After a while we decided to leave them alone for a bit and check out the rest of the bay, to see if there's something more to see. We did find a small pod of 4 white-beaked dolphins, that were circling us for a few moments, but then disappeared. After not finding anything else, we went back to the humpbacks to say goodbye. As we were enjoying them, all of a sudden the dolphins appeared again for a few moments and then were gone again. So we looked at the humpbacks one last time and then left, because as always: all good things must come to an end. ;)
