CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: We set course under sunny skies and calm seas. At the beginning of our journey we came across a minke whale that has exceptionally curious. It surfaced many time close to our boat and even when under it ones. After this lovely sighting we continued way until we came across six white-beaked dolphins that came straight to our boat jumping and playing around. It dint took a long until we came across some blows and we went to investigate. Indeed they where two humpback whales that that they were resting. It was really interesting and peaceful to see them taking a nap together. We let them enjoy there peace and continued our way to another humpback whale and we soon realised that we where sarounded by 5 humpback whales in a distance of a mile. We passed by all of them and started our way back to port. On our way back we came across many harbor porpoise that made us even happier.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00
Report from Eldey: Besides a few raindrops the weather was still perfect this afternoon, with flat seas and barely any wind. First, we saw a pod of around 5 harbour porpoises. They were feeding and wouldn't let us distract them from that so we got good looks at these little cuties as we sailed past. We Then found our first humpback whale, a nice individual flukediving multiple times. While we enjoyed this, a minke whale swam by as well, making it the third species we encountered on this tour. We eventually moved on to our next blow but got distracted by a humpback whale slapping its pectoral fins on the surface. This whale got one-upped very quickly again as we saw no less that 2 humpback whales breaching over and over nearby! They gave us an incredible show with so many breaches we lost count, only stopping to switch to pec slaps and after they ran out energy for those, one of them continued pecslapping again. Often one fin, but then 2 fins and back to one, even rolling and twisting inbetween! The whole encounter with these whales was absolutely magical and it is a tour to remember!
