Tour at 13.00

Report from Hasfsúlan: The weather was beautiful today and the skies were filled with clouds or a variety of colours. The weather was very intermittent though as one moment we had blue skies and then sleet then blue skies and on the way home, snow. We sailed west first of all then south towards strúmsvik and the Reykjanes Peninsula, we had a few species of seagulls following us for some of the tour and new the aluminium factory there is always flocks of hundreds of shags and cormorants. It was a great day out on the water but once again no whales or dolphins :( We gave our passengers complimentary tickets and hope the situation changes for the better soon.

Birds seen on today´s tour include: Eider Ducks, Red Breasted Mergansers, Glaucous Gulls, Kittiwakes, Iceland Gulls, Lesser black-backed Gulls, Shags, Cormorants, Fulmars.
