Tour status: ON

Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Finally the weather had calmed down a bit and it was actually very warm out considering the time of year. We started out the tour searching around the island Viðey in the hopes of finding the whale we have been seeing there for about 3 weeks already. But sadly today was day 5 of no sign of it. Thus we turned direction very quickly and pointed our direction towards Akraness. We went out quite a bit further than in the last weeks as we spotted many seabirds in big flocks actively feeding. There was also a fishing boat and the area was just so lively it seemed very promising. We sailed through it towards Keflavik but still, no luck. Even as we sailed back towards the Old Harbour we unfortunately did not spot any marine mammals today. Thus, everyone was given a complimentary ticket and hopefully enjoyed this scenic sail none the less.

We are running our whale watching tour at 13:00 today, from the old harbour in Reykjavík.
