We are sailing out from the Old Harbour in Reykjavik on a beautiful day. The wind is calm but there could be some movement on the boat out on Faxabay so if you are sensitive to motion sickness we do offer sea sickness tablets at the ticket office and on the boat free of charge.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: The conditions were great this morning with very good visibilty and a smooth sail. The sea however, did have a very long swell which was quite large at our furthest reaches during the tour, but with no wind there was no roughness, just a gentle rock of the boat in places. We searched long and hard for wildlife and encountered many small pods of harbour porpoises. The best pod consisted of around 6-10 individuals which were seen surfacing very calmy just off the islands situated outside of the harbour. They were easily watched for a few minutes before they decided to quickly move away. Unfortunately, no whales or dolphins were seen and complimentary tickets were issued.
