Report from Eldey:  What a BEAUTIFUL day!! Pure sunshine, nearly flat seas and, best of all, three minke whales!!! They were all encountered throughout the tour, lifting first their heads and then their dorsal fins out of the water. It was especially exciting for our research as well, since all had marked dorsal fins. One we could immediately recognize as Tap, whom we have seen numerous times over the last years. Really just one of those perfect days. Great weather, beautiful landscapes and wonderful whales.

Report from Eldey: We started the tour with a spectacular sunrise above the city of Reykjavik. The lighting gave us the enthusiasm to move forward into the wild. With the sharp eyes of our passengers we spotted a pod of approximately 10 white-beaked dolphins. They seemed to be feeding and we even managed to see a funny scene of a few common guillemots "chasing" after dolphins, since they indicated where the fish is. The animals were at times really close to us and it made for a great experience to be able to dwell in the presence of these gentle mammals.
