We are sailing out from Reykjavik old harbor today in hopes of finding some whales. The wind is blowing from the east so there will be some movement on the boat.

Tour at 13:00

Report from Eldey: Hellish day out in the bay, unfortunately! Fooled by the more or less calm seas we had on the harbour and surrounding areas, we woke up soon from our dream of a peaceful tour as soon as we faced the wind blowing from the north. We sailed towards the whale fiord, getting shelter from the islands of Lundey, Videy and Therney first and then from the main northern coast. But the wind wasn't giving us any break. What's more, unfortunately we didn't manage to see any whales or dolphins, and we had to give our costumers some complimentary tickets to they'll be able to come back again and try better luck. At least, we got to experience the true Icelandic rollercoasters during this quite interesting tour!
