Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00

Report from Eldey: We once again set sail in very calm, flat waters. The sea conditions have been amazing recently! The humpback whale we had seen very near to the harbour was back again. We saw this great individual for many surfaces. Recently it hasn't been lifting it's fluke out the water when it dived too often, but today it did many times. We were very lucky and got to see this individual for quite a while at the start of the tour. We even got to sea a harbour seal swim alongside the boat all the way to the back during this humpback whale sighting which was exciting. We then decided to head out into the bay to see if there was anything else we could spot today. We didn't want to disturb this humpback whale too much with other boats now approaching. Unfortunately, despite the amazing sea conditions we didn't see any other cetaceans. On our way back into the harbour we did get to see our humpback whale again which was very nice.
