Report from Eldey: Welcome to the roller coaster called the North Atlantic Ocean. Yesterday´s storm still resulted in quite large rolling swells, therefore we decided to sail from another harbour this afternoon to have the swells more in our back, nevertheless there was some movement on the boat. It stayed dry for most of the trip besides a 15 minutes snow storm. We had to sail for over two hours without seeing much wildlife, but then 3 wonderful pods of white-beaked dolphins appeared. All of them were likely feeding and we could stay with a pod of 6-8 individuals for quite a while. It was really nice to see them all around us, but the best thing happened when we were actually on our way back. The dolphins started bow-riding and swimming along our sides directly underneath the water surface. We could experience their agility and beauty only centimeters away, which was simply stunning. What a great afternoon out at sea.
