Tour at 13:00 Report from Elding. Today we went from Sandgerði, it was a beautiful day, very sunny but cold however using our overalls you would make you feel pretty warm and toasty. The first thing we spotted just as we were leaving the port was a grey seal, it popped up a few times and we could see it very well. As we continued with our journey we noticed that there were thousands of birds feeding on the abundance of herring that we could smell in the air. We decided to sail along the coast towards a gethering of fishing boats to try our luck. This paid off as suddenly there was a blow from a Humpback Whale, we approched him/her and after a while we noticed that there were two Humpback Whales in the area. We told the passengers to visualized the tail of the whale and moments after he/she showed us it´s great tail; passengers and crew were really happy and excited. After some time with the whales we decided to head back and on the way we got to see the fishing boats hauling in their catch and hundreds of Gannets plunging into the water all around.

Photos and film will be here soon, stay posted!
