Report from Eldey and Hafsulan: A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!
Like yesterday, winds were calm and the overcast sky actually kept the temperatures above freezing point. We did have quite some swell making this a surfing-on-the-waves whale watching tour. Our patience was tested a lot but finally, almost 2 hours into our tour, we encountered a lovely pod of 8-10 white-beaked dolphins! It was a fantastic encounter with the dolphins swimming all around us and bow-riding as well. Everyone had the chance to watch them as well as take photos and videos as they were moving rather slowly, likely catching just a few fish here and there. A great encounter, especially on Christmas day.

Birds seen today include: northern gannet, shag, common guillemot, great cormorant, common guillemot, black-headed gull.
We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today. If your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available at our ticket office.
