Report from Eldey: This afternoon sea conditions were better and we could sail further to check our regular whale watching grounds.It was a bit more windy but after a while of struggling when we were sailing against the wind and waves rest of our way to Reykjavik was a pleasant ride. Unfortunately despite our efforts we weren't able to find any cetaceans. Hopefully our passenger will be able to experience a magic moment with us another time as we offered to everyone complimentary tickets.

Tour at 9:00: RUNNING and sailing from Hafnarfjörður
Report from Eldey: The conditions were perfect this morning as we left the harbour in Hafnarfjörður, even some sun was shining through the clouds. So we sailed out along the Reykjaness peninsula enjoying the changing landscape but unfortunately were unable to locate any cetaceans during this tour. As we do not have any control over this animals and as for wildlife expeditions this can happen, we offer all our passengers to come back another time to try their luck and gave them complimentary tickets.

Bird species seen today include: cormorant, eider duck, black-legged kittiwake, northern gannet, northern fulmar, great black-back gull
We will be sailing out from HAFNARFJORDUR today at 9 am due to unfavourable conditions out of Reykjavík. A bus will be ready and waiting for passengers here in the Old Harbour and drive off to Harfnarfjordur at the scheduled departure time.
Please note: If you are booked with a pick up we will still pick you up at the scheduled time at your hotel or busstop, between 08:15-08:45, and if you don´t have a pick up booked please be at the Elding ticket office about 20-30 minutes before departure at 9 am.
After the tour we will return to Reykjavík by bus again. This will result in a longer tour, or 4 hrs. and could impact COMBO tours. Guests that are unable to join the tour because of it's length should contact their travel planner immediately to arrange for a different activity or check for other options provided by them.
