Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: We headed out with high hopes because of the morning tour, the weather was not as good, a little more wind and some rain. Sailing around the area were we saw them in the morning there was very little of birds and no sighting of the Orcas although there was alot of fish in the bay. We searched for almost 3 hours and covered a very large area, but unfortunatly they had left the bay. Everyone got a complementary ticket and we hope that tomorrow there will be more life in the bay ! Tour at 9:00

Report from Hafsúlan: this morning we had very nice weather although the sun wasn't shining. We had sailed for about 30 minutes when we saw the huge dorsal fin of the great Orcas. They were so many, at least 20-30 animals. Again we could spot the mothers with the youngs and the males close to them. They were moving very fast and were obviously hunting as you could see the flock of birds over them and diving down when the killer Whales came up from their dive. Such a beautiful sight, we were amazed. But then something more amazing happend, one of the Orcas came you just beside the boat two times, and for the second time it stayed there for a few seconds and we could get a very good look at it.   What an amazing tour with these gorgeus animals.Birds seen on the tour include: Fulmars, Black-backed Gulls, Eider-ducks and cormorants.
