Report from Eldey: This morning we sailed out into a windy and wavy Faxaflói all cozied up in our overalls. Many flocks of birds were out and about, and we headed south in search of whales. We sailed far and wide, passing by feeding birds where we hoped we could spot a cetacean. After a while of sailing, we turned back around and searched further close to our islands outside of Reykjavík. Unfortunately, this time the cetaceans were being quite shy so we offered our passengers a complimentary ticket to try again for free on another tour. On our way home, we got a nice glimpse of the Atlantic puffin colony nesting outside Reykjavík, and returned to the harbour hopeful for our next try.
