✔ SPECIAL WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 09:00

Report from Elding : Probably one of the most sunny tours from this summer. If the sea was still not completely calm it was much nicer than yesterday. The wind from the north was quite cold but not very strong. We found a nice area with many birds so we slowed down. It was a good decision, a minke whale appeared, and a second one a few minutes later. We could see the minke whales surfacing a few times, probably feeding. It was not easy to follow because changing course and swimming fast. When we could not see them anymore we kept going and found 2 white beaked dolphins, a mother and its calf. They came close but did not seem  to be interested about us. We could still have a nice view on them and even one are two jumps between the waves. We started getting closer to Reykjavik and found a third minke whale, that could also be one of the previous one. It came twice extremely close of the boat. We came back under the warm sun.

✔ PREMIUM WHALE TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 10:00

Report from Eldey: Sea conditions were pretty good for spotting whales. Not much wind and a sunny day would be a great beginning for our search. However, it took us a bit longer than expected. We came across our first minke whale after a long 45 minutes trip. It was very shy and hard to follow. I suspect it was busy feeding. After another 30 minutes we found two other minke whales that were travelling together. We could follow them for a while and were easier to contemplate. In our search for more species we could not find any different ones but we found our last minke whale of the tour. Not great sighting but good enough for a good goodbye of our tour.
