CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 09:00
Report from Eldey: The morning started off with a bit of swell on the way out of the harbour. We decided to sail to the same place where we had spotted the humpback whale yesterday, in Hvalfjörður, hoping that the whale had decided to stick around. We are glad we did, because soon enough we spotted one humpback whale not too deep inside the fjord! Shielded from the wind and the waves outside of the fjord, we were able to stay with this humpback for a while as it moved around, occasionally lifting its tail fluke when it went for a dive! We returned to harbour with smiles on our faces after this lovely encounter!

CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 13:00
Report from Eldey: We headed out this afternoon with cloudy skies and a bit of rain, but luckily the wind had calmed down, so the sea was much smoother than earlier. We made our way toward Whale Fjord, where a humpback had been spotted this morning. About an hour into the trip, we got word that a humpback whale was nearby—super close to land! We changed course and sailed straight over. Sure enough, there it was, and it wasn’t shy at all. We saw it fluke several times, and at one point it came really close to our boat, which was amazing. Then we spotted a second blow—not just one whale, but two! We stayed with them for a while, just watching and enjoying the moment. Eventually, we started heading back to the harbor.
