Tour at 17:00

After a short time searching we found a minke whale. This whale surfaced few times and sometimes quite close to us. It even tricked us a little bit by surfacing first in front of us and then behind us :) After a while we headed further out to try to find other whales. We had to search for a long time without any luck again, but we saw lot of diving gannets which is always fantastic!! So a great minke whale in the beginning and amazing gannets!

Tour at 13:00

We sailed out in a very calm and nice weather, with an excellent visibility. It didn't take us long until we spotted our first minke whale, and at the same time we spotted another one, so we had two there surfacing around us. Also few beautiful gannets flying and diving around us. We also spotted a baby minke whale that surfaced many times around us, and sometimes it came very close. Than we decided to find some other whales and right away we spotted another minke whale, much bigger and it surfaced extremely close to us, only 5-10 meters away. Great tour with 4 minke whales in a great weather!

Tour at 09:00

The tour was fantastic. The sea conditions were calm and the rain stayed away for the whole tour. We saw many Minke Whales, some surfacing less than 20 meters from our boat. One seemed to be quite young too. They all showed up and then they would vanish for a long time so patience was needed on occasion but it paid of once the whales surfaced again. There were also a couple of pods of Harbour Porpoises but they seemed to busy feeding as they were fast surfacing most of the time. The seabirds were also in large numbers too, Gannets, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Great Skuas, Arctic Skuas and Gulls. Great Tour ;)
