The event for the lighting of the Imagine Peace Tower in Viðey, scheduled for Thursday, 9 October, has been cancelled due to rough seas and high waves in Faxaflói Bay. Although the event is cancelled, we encourage everyone to watch the lighting live at 20:00 on the IMAGINE PEACE TOWER website.
Weather permitting, we will begin our scheduled Imagine Peace Tower tours to Viðey tomorrow evening, Friday 10 October, in celebration of the tower being lit once again this autumn. Tours will be available on Fridays and Sundays until mid-December, with additional departures in late-December, February, and March. See schedule and prices for further information.
