It did not take us long before we stumbled upon 2 humpback whales that were very relaxed. We watched them for over half an hour before we decided to move away as boats were accumulating around the whales.

Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 2/9, S-W 3 m/s and 9°C. Moon is currently waxing crescent and 2.3% illuminated. Partial low level cloud coverage is forecasted in the area.

We went to similar areas as we did in the morning, but it took us a long time to find our first whale. We then saw the blow from a humpback whale quite far away, and it was blowing very frequently. As we got closer, we realised that there was another humpback whale right next to it!
