CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 9:00
It was a beautiful weather this morning with very calm waters and minimal wind. Light breeze came from the southwest, coupled with a nice sun peeking through the clouds occasionally. It did not take us long before we stumbled upon 2 humpback whales that were very relaxed. We watched them for over half an hour before we decided to move away as boats were accumulating around the whales. In our next search area, I saw a minke whale surface one time, but we did not manage to locate it again and passengers did therefore not see it. We, however, found another humpback whale that we watched for two surfacing sequences before we had to head back for dry land.
