    We went around the islands again and soon found a pair of humpback whales between the islands before catching a glimpse of a speedy minke whale and another one by Viðey island. In the afternoon we saw a minke whale and the 2 humpback whales again swimming side by side! One of them began tail throwing and tail slapping repeatedly, leaving us in awe!

    It was a cold October morning as we headed to the islands where we had seen wildlife yesterday. We soon found a very cute little harbour seal who briefly checked us out before we found the same pair of humpback whales from the day before. In the afternoon, we again found the pair of humpback whales from this morning that were logging and fluke diving.

    We didn't have to travel far at all this morning, as we spotted 2-3 minke whales right outside the harbour walls, a pod of 3-4 harbour porpoises nearby and 2 humpback whales near Viðey island! In the afternoon we found the 2 humpback whales and the 2 minke whales from the morning tour! All in all, a great day spotting wildlife so very near the city!

    We had strong wind blowing this morning so luckily we didn't have to sail far out of the harbour when we spotted a pair of humpback whales and a fast minke whale in the distance. The wind had dropped as we sailed back out in the afternoon and we soon found the 2 humpback whales and the minke whale from this morning. What a great day, and so close to shore!

    It was gloriously cold and sunny morning in the bay! Only 15 minutes after leaving the harbour we found a sneaky minke whale that came quite close to the boat and we managed to get a few pictures with Hallgrímskirkja church in the background. We stayed until our time ran out and eventually headed home. All other tours were cancelled today due to weather.

    We spotted a minke whale just as we were leaving the harbour this morning. It was actively feeding on the surface and lead us around in circles. After a while, we even found a second one! The wind had picked up quite a bit in the afternoon, but we were soon able to find the 2 minke whales again as well as 2 humpback whales swimming close together!

    We had a typical Icelandic autumn weather this morning with lots of rain. After sailing a bit, we spotted 2 playful humpback whales swimming, rolling and showing off their pectoral fins alongside about 10 white-beaked dolphins. In the afternoon we found the pair of humpback whales again this time breaching, pec- and tail-slapping all over the place!

    We had calm seas and bright skies with wonderful sightings of minke whales and playful white-beaked dolphins throughout the morning. The dolphins showed off with bow-riding and full jumps while the minkes surfaced close to the boat. The afternoon brought calm conditions and friendly minkes feeding near the islands.

    We had a day full of activity across all tours, featuring minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and a fast travelling humpback whale. The morning brought great variety before fog set in, while the afternoon cleared to calm seas and close sightings right near Reykjavík - a lively and memorable day on the bay!

    We enjoyed calm seas and gentle weather today with wonderful sightings of minke whales and a pair of humpback whales feeding close to Reykjavík’s coastline. The whales were relaxed and surfaced often, even showing their flukes near the harbour wall. A perfect day with whales so close we could almost see them from shore!

    Under calm seas and sunshine, we enjoyed fantastic close sightings of harbour porpoises, minke whales and humpback whales right outside the harbour. The whales spent much of the day calmly surfacing near shore, with a few impressive fluke dives and the city skyline in the background - a beautiful reminder of Reykjavík’s rich marine life!

    Today we experienced calm seas and fantastic sightings right by Reykjavík’s coastline. Both tours enjoyed close encounters with multiple minke whales and a pair of humpback whales that spent much of the day feeding and cruising near the harbour. The fog and drizzle couldn’t dim the excitement - a truly special day with whales against the city backdrop!

Calm conditions and patient searching rewarded us with close encounters and even a lunge-feeding minke whale close to the harbour. A wonderful day at sea with diverse sightings and memorable moments.

    The wildlife was a bit elusive this morning so we issued complimentary tickets to our passengers. In the afternoon we encountered harbour porpoises, minke whales and several humpback whales, including the well-known Davy Jones II. The afternoon brought close encounters as the whales fed together, a perfect day at sea in Faxaflói bay!

    With strong winds and noticeable swell, we searched the waters around the islands and into the scenic Hvalfjörður. Although the views were beautiful, no whales were sighted today, and all our guests were issued complimentary tickets to return for another chance to meet the wildlife of Faxaflói. The last tour of the day was cancelled due to weather.

    We sailed out from the harbour and decided to stay close to the coast due to the wind. We saw many birds, rainbows, and even the first snow of the season on the mountains nearby. We didn't managed to see any whales or dolphins today, so complimentary tickets were issued to all guests. The rest of today's tours were cancelled due to worsening weather.
