Naturalist & Deckhand
We are seeking passionate people to join our team for the combined role of naturalist and deckhand for an exciting summer season 2026. Involving both onboard interpretation and practical deckhand duties while operating at sea, you will be responsible for sharing knowledge about marine wildlife and birds with our guests, while also assisting the crew with deck operations to ensure safe and smooth tours.
We see that you have very good spoken English (other languages are a bonus), enjoy sharing knowledge about marine wildlife and seabirds, feel confident speaking to guests, have a positive and adaptable attitude, and are comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions. Photography skills are highly beneficial.
Requirements:
- EEA passport or Icelandic ID number
- STCW95/10 A-VI/1 (Basic Safety Training)
- STCW95/10 A-V/2 (Crowd and Crisis Management)
