We sailed out tonight after a snowy day. It was meant to be clear skies but as we set off there were high clouds. We could just about see some stars and the moon through this, but as we didn't see any auroras we gave out complimentary tickets.

We went quite far until we saw a blow. We went there and could see a humpback whale! We were observing this majestic creature when a 2nd humpback whale decided to breach 3 or 4 times! We were going to return to the harbour when the other humpback decided to give us a gentle tail slap and then a fluke dive to say goodbye.

We sailed out with quite a nice forecast. By half of the tour, we had clear skies in a very starry night, but unfortunately, tonight they tricked us and therefore we decided to give out complimentary tickets and hope to see everyone return another night!

There was still a bit of swell as we sailed out surrounded by snowy pink mountains and enjoyed the stunning clouds. We sailed around, scanning the horizons for any sign of cetaceans. Unfortunately we were unsuccessful in finding any and therefore handed out complimentary tickets so that everyone can come again and see the bay in its full glory.

About 20 minutes into the tour, we started to see some green in the sky. They started to grow a bit stronger, and fortunately right in the middle of one of the many gaps in the sky we saw the northern lights! What a lovely night with lovely music!
