• NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Tonight we are expecting an aurora activity of 5/9, N 10 m/s and 3°C. Moon is currently at Waning Crescent and 16% illuminated. Partly cloudy skies are forecasted in the area.

Report form Eldey: tonight we were expecting a Kp index of 5, although we still had some clouds before the tour. However, it was also forecasted to have many and many gaps in between them, and off we went to try to see the lights! About 20 min after the tour, we started to see some green in the sky, and they started to get a bit stronger, and fortunately, on one of the many gaps in the sky! We had Northern lights! We first started seeing it very slightly, but then the lights came above us and created a beautiful curve, very visible and nice. After fading away a bit, we realized we were in the middle of a huge gap of clouds, and we basically had clear skies during the rest of the tour. On the way home, the lights started to scatter: a dash there and two nice and long dancing arches at the sky. A lovely night with lovely music!
