The northern lights forecast for tonight looks promising, moderate northern lights activity and partly clear skies. However the wind is still taunting us, and we will have to see later today if the wind calms down or not. Hopefully it does so that we will be able to go out.

Our first tour in the month of Desember took place today after three cancelled days in a row due to storm. We left from Keflavik and sailed towards Hafnarfjörður as we knew we would be mostly sheltered by land from the strong south-western wind. We started by sailing up

It's still quite windy but the sky is much clearer than yesterday. The auroral activity is forecasted 2-4, depending on which aurora forecast you look at. We're hoping to run the tour but we'll have to wait and see a little longer how the weather develops.
