We are expecting clear skies tonight and a moderate northern lights activity (4/9). The sea conditions are also supposed to be better for tonight. We are crossing our fingers!

Sightings: This evening was looking very positive, good forecasted activity level, clear skies, and good sea conditions, using the island of Viðey for a bit more shelter and calmer sea. After about an hour of being patient we started to see a faint green shimmer towards the northeast and it got stronger. After about 10 minutes it disappeared and came back with avengence. The whole sky was green, some still, some very active. Huge beautiful patterns emerged and it was so hard to leave. One of the best northen light displays i've seen and definitely in the top 5 for this season. Incredible night. To see pictre please view our facebook page.
