Although the wind picked up a little bit, observation conditions were still very good. Close to coast we spotted two minke whales and several groups of harbour porpoises. We went to Puffin Island as well and watched the teeming puffin colony...
It had started to rain but the sea still was very calm - this tour staretd also with spotting some Harbour porpoises but they were more in a distance. Two groups of White-beaked Dolphins were spotted a little bit later, one with a calf and rather shy, keeping their distance,

Although the first trip was packed with wildlife we had no luck on this second. Only a few harbour porpoises appeared and disappeared fastly next to our boat. Still we could enjoy the puffin crowd on Puffin Island

Again we went out quite far in good weather conditions. Closer to the so called Whale Fiord we observed a minke whale feeding in association with sea birds. Another time we had some beautiful encounters with Puffins close to the boat.

The afternoon tour started with encountering the White-beaked Dolphins, that we did't see for quite a while. They were approaching us several times and diving under the boat, great to watch. Harbour porpoises were also spotted during this tour, but not as nicely as during th
Another tour in really nice weather conditions, very sunny and calm sea but again it prooved to be very difficult to find the whales. A blow was spotted by one of our boats but the whale did not show up again.
