Still the wind was rough and cold. We searched in Faxafloi for whales and had a short but very close and clear sighting of harbour porpoises. Nice watch! Due to the wind speed we headed back to the Old Harbour soon afterwords.

We went out with two boats on this morning trip. Great sunshine, good visibility, no rain but a strong northeastern wind... . This 12m/s wind speed prevented us from spotting the minke whales and harbour porpoises
Again we had fantastic weather in the afternoon and perfect whale watching conditions. There was no wind and we could easily spot the whales from far away. Like this morning the whales were close to land and after sailing just a short time we spotted the first minke whales

Although we had some rain showers the weather conditions were favourable. But although we did a big round in Faxafloi we did not see a single fin... . We hope for better trips tomorrow!!

Again we found lots of harbour porpoises, througout the tour it was possible to spot them in the distance. We encountered 3 individuals of the Minke Whales - they did not stay very long with us but with all of them we had a few very good sightings of their surfacing behaviou
