Sightings: The Northern Lights started early this evening and we could watch them over head as we were preparing the boat for this evening cruise. They got stronger as the night unfolded, increasing in strength and size, at one point you could see them dancing. This is the time when you can see a slight purple fringing to them. The stars were also beautiful, constellations such as Ursa Major, Cassiopia and orion in full view and the planet Jupiter was easily seen with its brightness. Another incredible night watching the northern lights.
