The storm we've been experiencing the past few days seem to be calming down and will keep doing so throughout the day/evening. We expect some scattered clouds and aurora forecast is a moderate 3/9.
Tour status: RUNNING
Sightings: In the moment we left the harbour the sky was completely covered and after some heavy rain it started snowing. Falling big snowflakes were a nice sight but not ideal to see the northern lights. But like in the Icelandic saying, the weather changes quickly and after a while we saw the first star and some passenger even observed a shooting star. Towards the end of the tour more and more stars and the moon got visible and even 3 times some faint greenish northern lights, but we hope that our guests will use their complementary tickets and will get a better chance to see the northern lights properly.
