Departure from the old harbour at 10pm. We are expecting little wind and partly cloudy skies. Aurora activity level is at 3-4/9!
Sightings: the first northern lights were seen in the west as we were still sailing, having just left the harbour and heading north. Once they disappeared, we had little to speak of until we were on the way back home but even without northern lights, the sky was magnificent tonight, clear and cloud-free for the most part, stars bright and visible and the moon half, such a wonderful night.
