Sightings: the trip was surprisingly gentle, given the windy forecast, and already as we were on the way out we had long arcs of lights stretching across the sky, in a cloud opening. For a while the sky was magnificent and astonishing to look at but towards the end the forecasted cloud cover came and stopped the fun. But the tour was saved!
