We are expecting some wind, partly cloudy skies and aurora forecast around 4/9.
Sightings: the sky was promising when we went off, mostly cloud-free, but in between it clouded up and cleared in turns. It was still and very beautiful tonight as we were in our place between the islands off Reykjavik, waiting and hoping for northern lights. However, there was virtually no real magnetic activity, even if the forecast had been promising. As a result we gave every passenger a complimentary return ticket in the hope that they will be able to use them soon and then get to see the lights we had hoped for tonight.
