The aurora activity prediction this evening is quite high (4/9)! The cloud coverage also seems to have become thinner than was predicted, so we will be going out tonight :)
Tour status: RUNNING
Sightings: The sky was mostly overcast as we headed out into the bay in hope of seeing some northern lights. Even though some of the mist lifted and the clouds got thinner in different areas we unfortunetaly saw no northern lights. We did however see glowing plankton in the wake of our boat! Together with the calm sea and beautiful views of Reykjavík by night that still made for a very pleasant tour. Hopefully our passengers will make use of the complimentary tickets we gave out and come back for another try!
