The weather forecast for tonight looks promising, we are expecting clear skies and moderate northern lights activity (2/9).

Tour status: RUNNING

Sightings: We sailed out on the calm bay very optimistic to see the northern lights but for some time in the beginning of the tour we could only enjoy the starry sky. Then we noticed a faded line over us that easily could have been mistaken for a cloud but we were pretty sure it was exactly what we were looking for. This gave us a clue where we should be searching, but this faint thick line didn’t change for one hour. When our passengers were offered their warm drinks one of them gasped and pointed up, the faint line had begun to shine brightly green! There the show began and it kept on until we got back to the harbour! The lights danced over us, green, pink, red and maybe a little purple in all possible shapes! So far this was definitely one of the best northern lights this winter and an unforgettable evening!!
