Tour status: RUNNING

We're expecting semi clouded skies and medium activity.

Sightings: We sailed in relatively calm sea conditions, considering the past few days of rough sea that prevented us from going out. The mysterious dark night was a slightly lit by the city of Reykjavik, offering us a pleasant background during this trip. As expected, the sky was half clouded, but we quickly made our way to a clear area and spotted our first northern light of the season ! At first, it was a shy green patch in the sky. It was faint but cameras could get the picture very clearly. We remained patient and a more vivid green line started to shine right above us, while we could have an amazing view of stars and constellations in the sky. Few shooting stars could even be seen ! In the end, we also had glimpses of pink northern lights. After canceling so many tours because of cloudy sky, it was a fine way to start the season and we expect more in the future.
