We are expecting scattered clouds, nice calm wind and aurora forecast of 3/9.
Sightings: The night started off with a snow storm and a very overcast sky, did not look good for the first 30 minutes or so but as we all know, the Icelandic weather can change at the speed of a click of the fingers. At first we saw a light colour in the sky but needed a camera to prove they were northern lights. Suddenly the clouds cleared even more until the a long green stream of light came over head. After another 10-20 minutes the skies were alive, colours of vibrant green and purple danced in all directions. A once in a life time experience.
