Sightings: The sky looked rather depressing with loads of clouds when we started our cruise tonight. However, the forecast had predicted a high activity and so we sailed out waiting for the sky to clear up. After about an hour the clouds had disappeared to a large extent but came back after a while. In the end, we got to see a bright green stripe of northern lights for about 5 min before it was hidden behind clouds again. Therefore, we offered everyone onboard a complimentary ticket for another free tour with hopefully more northern lights.
